Hyalite Lake

Location Details
Hyalite Lake is an 11.3 mile out and back trail in the Custer Gallatin National forest with 2,152 ft of elevation gain. The trail passes passing by several waterfalls on the way to Hyalite Lake, which is situated in a beautiful cirque beneath Hyalite Peak.

One multi-night treks, teams continue the addition 4 mile round trip trek to the peak, with an additional 1,500 feet of elevation gain. The peak sits at 10,299 feet and has 360 degree views of the Gallatins, Bridgers, Crazies, and the Beartooths on a clear day!
