Petra Wilderness exists to create outdoor experiences that challenge, inspire, equip, and build a rock solid foundation for a lifetime.

The focus is to provide opportunities for family, friends and affiliates of Petra Bozeman to adventure into the backcountry.

Many want to enjoy winter in the wilderness, but do not know the gear, equipment and helpful knowledge needed to do so. This is a free community training event for all ages at the PWI Headquarters (955 N 7th Ave, Bozeman, MT 59715). The goal is for each attendee to be equipped for situations they may encounter in the winter in the front and backcountry. It is also an introduction to Petra Wilderness trip offerings.
